About the Project
MMOFIX is a global digital marketplace that enables gamers to discover, purchase, and manage in-game assets—such as skins, virtual currencies, and digital items—across multiple game titles from a single platform.The product addresses a highly fragmented ecosystem where players must navigate multiple stores with inconsistent experiences. As the UI/UX Designer, my role was to design a unified marketplace experience that combines the energy of gaming culture with the clarity, trust, and efficiency required for high-conversion e-commerce platforms.

Gaming marketplaces vary widely in structure, terminology, and trust levels. The key challenge was designing a system that supports multiple games and item types while maintaining consistency, security, and ease of use—without diluting the excitement that gamers expect from digital asset platforms.

To design an experience aligned with gamer expectations, I conducted focused research:
Analyzed existing gaming and virtual goods marketplaces
Studied player motivation in virtual economies and rarity-based value systems
Identified trust signals required for digital asset transactions
Mapped common purchase journeys for skins, currencies, and items
Benchmarked checkout flows optimized for instant digital delivery
This research clarified the need for speed, clarity, and emotional engagement.

The UX strategy merged proven marketplace patterns with gaming aesthetics:
Designed a unified asset store supporting multiple games and item types
Implemented intuitive search and categorization by game, rarity, and asset type
Created clear product detail layouts highlighting value, rarity, and compatibility
Established a consistent visual language aligned with gamer culture
Optimized flows to reduce friction between discovery and purchase
