About the Project

SAINT is a premium ecommerce platform offering luxury candles and fragrances inspired by ritual, intention, and selfreflection. The brand blends spirituality with modern design, positioning its products as more than scents experiences meant to elevate daily moments.

Challenge

The primary challenge was to create a visually rich, emotionally driven interface that communicates luxury and spirituality, while still delivering a clear and intuitive shopping journey. The platform needed to feel editorial and cinematic without overwhelming users or disrupting conversion flows

Understanding luxury buyers, ritual‑driven branding, and scent storytelling

To deeply understand the product and audience, I immersed myself in the luxury fragrance space through multiple research layers:

  • Studied high‑end fragrance and candle brands to analyze storytelling and visual language

  • Researched buyer psychology around ritual, gifting, and self‑care products

  • Analyzed e‑commerce usability patterns for premium DTC brands

  • Explored content‑led commerce and editorial layouts

  • Reviewed trust signals important for luxury online purchases

This phase helped define the balance between emotional branding and functional design

Experience Strategy

Blending storytelling with conversion‑focused e‑commerce

The experience strategy focused on guiding users through a narrative‑driven journey while subtly leading them toward purchase. Key strategic decisions included:

  • Story‑first homepage layouts that introduce brand philosophy before products

  • Curated collections to reduce choice overload

  • Clear product hierarchies with premium visual emphasis

  • Minimal but strong CTAs that align with the brand tone

The goal was to make users feel inspired first—and confident enough to buy naturally

Crafting a refined, immersive shopping experience

The final design emphasizes elegance, depth, and clarity through:

  • Dark, moody color palettes and refined typography for a luxury feel

  • High‑quality product photography supported by scent descriptions

  • Trust‑building elements such as reviews, featured collections, and social proof

  • Mobile‑first layouts ensuring smooth browsing and checkout across devices

  • Content sections that reinforce ritual, intention, and brand storytelling

Every screen was designed to feel calm, intentional, and premium.

A storytelling‑led e‑commerce experience that converts with confidence

he final result is a polished, emotionally engaging e‑commerce platform that successfully merges luxury branding with usability. The design elevates the perception of the products while maintaining a seamless shopping flow positioning SAINT as a ritual‑driven lifestyle brand rather than a conventional online store.
